Until there are other things to try or Rodolphe is able to consider this, all that I can do is speculate.
I think of it like this - if the TOS, ABE, and SDR programming occurs without errors and can be verified multiple times by independent computers and software, it seems likely that these are all correctly programmed. The question is, what else is there on the CT60 that can go wrong from a flashing error? Is there some other memory area anywhere else? Maybe the CTCM can be ruled out, since I tried a 66mhz oscillator instead. Maybe the NVRAM can be eliminated since I cleared it several times, but I will not know for certain until a replacement arrives. Still, I don't understand how a failed flash would have sent wrong data to the NVRAM anyway.
I keep hoping that there is something else on the CT60 that can be erased or reset, or that the programmable units for ABE and SDR can be initialized more completely from some menu on the Xilinx Impact software that I haven't found yet. It seems very unlikely that the first failed flash attempt would result in a spontaneous hardware failure, so it seems this is still a problem with the software on the CT60.
What I am dreading, is if the CT60 is ruined, I would have to not only buy a replacement CT63 (if there are any left) but also have the CT60 bus modifications removed and reversed. I was so close to having a Falcon with all of the capabilities I have been after for so many years, like high resolution color video and fast ethernet, but may have lost it all due to a random error.
I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
