$60 Contest for CT60 Fix |

How about a contest?
I'll Paypal $60 USD to the first person that comes up with a way for me to fix my CT60.
Just to summarize...
My CT60 was installed with solders for bus speeder by Rodolph Czuba, and was working very well until two days ago when an update failed. It has the required modifications for in Falcon flashing, including 1Kohms resistor between GND (Ground) and the pin #1 of one of the three 74LVC245 chips to allow flashing from 030 mode. CTCM is also installed. The Dallas 1287 real time clock battery is probably quite dead.
My first attempt to update my CT60 resulted in a system hang. After waiting several minutes to be sure, I shut off the computer. After this, the computer would not boot (white screen).
Since then, I have successfully flashed using both PC and Falcon. I added a switch to my JTAG parallel port cable to allow use on either system. Below are the configurations for each flash procedure.
Falcon with current (4/10) CT60 Flash Tool Flash060.PRG from Didier Mequignon
Instructions from here:
http://pagesperso-orange.fr/didierm/ct60/index-e.htm
Flashed with:
- NVDI + CT60 installed
- NVDI + CT60 unplugged from expansion port but powered and connected to bus speeder
PC with Xilinx Impact software from Lab Tools
Instructions from here:
http://nokturnal.pl/home/atari_16_32_bit/ct60_firmware_upgrade
Flashed with:
- CT60 installed
- CT60 unplugged from expansion port but powered, jumper on mainboard pins
Erase, flash and verify using any method is error free - and I have probably done this 20 times. In all cases, if SDR is programmed, the system becomes unable to boot (black screen). Erasing the SDR allows the system to boot again in 030 mode.
The one thing I cannot try is to flash from another Falcon, since I do not have another that is working.
Things I have tried, but am happy to try again:
Flashing with:
ABE_V7C ; SDR_V7B
ABE_V5M ; SDR_V5E
ctpcitos.bin
ct60tos.bin
CT60: F030free NVRAM reset - F030Free boot sector
If the CT60 is removed from the expansion connector, but speeder remains attached, and mainboard jumper is replaced, the Falcon will boot in 030 mode with either external or original power supply. From what I can tell, the Falcon mainboard is fine, boots, and runs programs, although I am happy to test further as advised.
All that I can think of is that the first programming attempt failed during erase, or somehow corrupted the memory in one of the Xilinx units, but erasing and reprogramming does not solve this. Otherwise, somehow a CT60 hardware failure might have occurred at the exact moment I first tried to flash.
Please let me know if you can help, or have any questions.
Thanks
