Booting from 030 mode was not possible (white screen). If I remove the CT60 and re-insert the mainboard jumper, my system does not work, probably since it uses an external PSU not connected to the main board and/or due to bus acceleration wiring.
I got out another Falcon to try programming with, but it was dead so I am out of luck with regard to using another Falcon. The Flash060 program does not run on anything but a Falcon, so I can't use my TT.
I downloaded the Impact software to attempt programming with a PC, and returned the JTAG cable to its unmodified form.
If I attempt to program the CT60 with the Falcon turned on in 030 mode, it boots itself after the ABE programming is complete - I don't know if this is causing a problem, nor any way to prevent this.
I can erase, program, and verify both ABE and SDR successfully, but the Falcon will not boot when power cycled. After some more testing, I discovered, that the Falcon will boot again in 030 mode if I erase SDR and leave it blank.
If I program the CT60 removed from the Falcon expansion connector, it will erase, program, and verify correctly - but the same boot failure occurs if the SDR is programmed.
I do have the 1Kohms resistor between GND (Ground) and the pin #1 of one of the three 74LVC245 chips, and NVDI was in use when the flash attempt was made from the Falcon.
In all cases, if SDR is programmed, the system now boots with a black screen.
I am not sure what you mean by needing a CT60 clock - I do have a CTCM, if that is what you mean. I do recall that the first time I updated the CT60, I had to use another Falcon, which is no longer an option.
Thanks
