That would make sense since I've had large screens since the late 80's that had no vertical hold and DLP came out in the late 80's. I guess I have to give up hope on that easy way out.

Much appreciated! I have a tendency to hash out a subject to its death hehe.

Along those lines, unless anyone has any bright ideas (i.e. unknown Pal to NTCS converter etc), I guess it's at it's death now :-P
