since the only 2 projection tvs listed on akaiusa.com output YPbPr, i'll assume this is the case for your tv as well.

the expensive way: get a video scaler that does 50/60hz conversion. cheap scalers come at about €200, but only output DVI or HDMI (so you'll need a separate ~€100 DVI/HDMI->YPbPr bridge). cheapest all-in-1 box with YPbPr output i can find is about €600, from personal experience i can recommend sony all-in-1's (€2000 and up).

the cheap way: get a VGA to YPbPr converter (€100 or thereabouts). drawback: only VGA compatible demos will work (obviously).
