Yes.

I have cut back to pin 4 and its clear of that now. It was not flush as you mentioned, I had not quite given it enough room, plus the IDE cables I was using had fairly tell connectors on, but that is now also cured and I have now been able to fully fit both the CT63 and the CTPCI sqaurely and they are now flush.

Anyway...

Today, I have gone ahead and I have installed XP onto a spare PC, and using the XILINX software, I decided to follow the NOKTURNAL page, and I followed this EXACTLY TO THE LETTER... It seemed to go EXACTLY as expected.

ERASE - PROGRAM - VERIFY on each CHIP seemed to go fine.

I rebooted the Atari, but nothing changed.

I noticed also that the boot screen on that page, showed the line

CT60 HARDWARE ABEv5M SDRvR_ CTCM 90.00MHZ

But mine says similar but nothing about the ABE / SDR

Mine is also BIOS 1.04a though.

Anyway, I plugged the CTPCI back into it but it still wont find it.

I then connected the JTAG to the pins on that instead of the CT63 and went through the process in a similar manner but the IMPACT Software failed to find that too! - it of course found the CT63 but not the CTPCI

Do I have an issue with the CTPCI?
or even my CT63?

I have to ask this because I spend over a year trying to get my CT63 to run correctly only for me to eventually send it back when Rodolphe found out that the CTCM was iffy on it. It ran fine since then.

What else can anyone suggest I try?
