By random, I mean I dont know what to test and where? - the last thing I need to do, is short some wire that I am not supposed to and fry it ( Even though I clearly wont have it connected and powered on )

And also as for testing resistance... What can I test that will tell me anything?

The cables I am good for. They are simple enough to test, but the CT63 / CTPCI - what use is it to me to know if this or that pin is or is not giving any resistance?

It would probably tell rodolphe news, but not me.
