Personally I think it's too late to switch processors. With JIT techniques we can keep a fair speed (still far from the top of the line PPC/X86 though).
And the discussions above were about doing a new motherboard, not adapting an existing hence I thought it would be quite expensive (low volumes cost alot more..).
My idea still stands; a JIT CPU (on whatever modern hardware) will be fast enough without the natfeats needing to do more than a few things (speaking to hardware). With the addition of a falcon compatiblity board we might have a fast Falcon computer with 68k switched to JIT sometime.
As you see I'm not too found of doing a TT-clone like hades or milan. They are just no fun even if I respect that some people enjoy them.
