PCI/AGP/USB - I agree, but this is 'clear thing' already! Rodoplhe said he's working on this stuff! He asked about MORE expansions!
About DSPs: hm.. and how many 060 democoders are here around? Yes yes, 060 = 030, but how many? I think no more than 10.. And I'm sure ppl like me, Newbeat, Earx, Escape (CT60 owners and DSP coders) will welcome a possibility to code on the new DSP .. and, in fact, these people are probably ONLY DSP coders here.. so.. what's the problem? For us it will be useful and for others... others don't care since are lamers who can't code on DSP ;P
about MiNT: sorry gildor, but... i want my falcon as DEMOMACHINE, not another aranym... woooaaah... GEM on x86!! astonishing! I want to code demos, not OpenGL stuff... or do you think some PC users will move to atari bcoz we have PPC and MiNT? Hahahaaa... don't forget we use atari JUST FOR FUN, not for something serious... so I think discussions about AES/VDI machine are.. useless. PPC would be nice as 'add-on'... do I want ppc? ok, let's activate it.. no? ok, let's stay in 060 mode... but, god, not an 68k emulation on ppc! this is way to hell! (just a look at aranym..)
I don't want to attack anyone, but.. guys, wake up! Falcon is a toy, so let's make this toy as cool as possible, do not biuld another TOS clone for GEM-clicking-applications...
