Placing the 56301 at the old address will not help to improve compatibility since
56301 hostport registers are different. And I want to note that compatibility between 56301
and 5600x is like supiervisour stuff on 68000 and 68060. When you add new on-chip peripherials
you'll find out that you have to deal with something completely new.
So 56301 or something else? I sugest to stay with pci bridge and if one wish then take a deesse card. (sorry for advertisement).
