Rodolphe's posts
Posted by: MiKRO Feb,06.2004-12:25

ok, I'm pasting here some of Rodolphe's reactions below, it's getting too messy, someone could miss it...

>MHz will access to 1/2 (50 Mhz) speed

Hmm.. and what about thinking about overclocking at 133 MHz (I mean CPU) and then we get 133/2 = 66 MHz for PCI? Or... why making 50 MHz... what about making asynchronous transfer between PCI and CPU (something like CT60<->Falcon) to get 66 MHZ PCI for 060@100? ... look at that guy with 92.5 MHz with old CPU..

great great great great!!! :)) I have to say post such this are such such motivating!!! Rodolphe, you're true Atari fan!! About DSP: hmm... for me, as DSP coder, would be nice to have at least some compatibility with old DSP.. but new DSP from TI... isn't bad too... so... what about TWO DSPs ?? One(56301) will be placed at old address space ($ffff82xx) and the new one (where we aren't limited with any compatibility issues) could be placed anywhere... hmm.. what you think about this solution?

Ok.. that's what I would to say.. once again, RODOLPHE THANKS!!!
