Re: ethernat driver cost

No MiNT, Xaaes, CT60 tos patches are GPL, it's very different. Aniplayer is freeware. If tomorrow I quit the Atari world, it's not a problem someone continue with the latest sources of the latest CT60 TOS archive.
Since some years, GPL is the best solution for the Atari world, another example for PCI drivers (also in GPL) build for the TOS and/or Auto folder :
For not reinvent the wheel , I use 3 sources for build radeon driver, Linux kernel, Aranym fVDI driver, and and an old program Picdesk for VDI calls.
And because GPL is used for PCI drivers everybody can build and add his driver inside the TOS.
So if the USB stack is not GPL, it's impossible to add sources and for example boot on and USB/keyboard mouse. Personnally with my own example with the video I cannot imagine remove the VGA cable from the radeon and put again this cable on the Videl VGA output if for example an AUTO program is crashed.

Regards,

Didier.
