Sounds interesting to me, although I'm a little unsure on how it would be used. Iirc, when the various clones came it with their pci slots, weren't they restricted to a couple of video cards here and there because of the lack of drivers?
Of course, it would probably be less expensive to the developer and cost less to buy for the consumer but, if we have the Ethernat/usb and the SuperVidel, what more to we need?
The way I look at it: If it would cost less to make, cost less for me to buy, and a bunch of folks writing bunches of drivers so that we can actually have a choice of the video, nic, modem, whatever cards....then I say YES.
Otherwise, I'll wait for the Ethernat/usb and the SuperVidel.
