While I did not write the PCI BIOS, I do have the sources and have worked on it in the past, so you're welcome to torture me about it. ;-)
Obviously, the more people I hear from who want to run their Eclipse with a CT60, the more pressure I will feel to do something about it.
I would have already, if I hadn't been living in a hotel room most of the time (because then I would have had time to set up my Falcons after moving to a new apartment, but now that's too late, anyway, since I have to move again...).
I have a CT60 myself, but it's not been modified to work with the Eclipse, which is in my AB040 machine.

The Eclipse PCI BIOS does work with the AB040, but that's because of some "cludges" that were made in the AB040 Toolkit software to support the Eclipse's use of the bus error vector.

I apologize for not having my web site up since October, since all these things would have been there.
I was unaware that 'oldinit' was needed, by the way. I thought running without the PCI BIOS (or without the 'pcibios' option) should be enough.
Can't remember what the difference with 'oldinit' was, but I'll remember to look into it.

It was always open source (GPL), actually. The public CVS archive I had up and running earlier will eventually come back up, at around the same time as my web site, whenever that might be.

Sven Karlsson, the Eclipse designer wrote the PCI BIOS. And he might be willing to make that open source. I've forgotten to ask him...
In any case, I was (when I last did any programming at all at home) working on a reimplementation of the PCI BIOS mostly in C (it's 100% assembly right now) earlier. That would have been GPLed and hopefully not too difficult to get to work on the CT60. But, it currently seems unlikely that I will finish that job in the foreseeable future.
So, I'll remember to ask Sven about open sourcing the PCI BIOS.
Anyway, if anyone wants to pester me about CT60 support, please use rand@cd.chalmers.se for now, since I have easier access to that than my normal address (which goes to Sven's machine right now).
