Re: CT63 problems

I forgot to mention earlier how this problem first appeared: The computer suddenly froze while I was running MiNT in 060 mode. No error message appeared on the screen, everything just froze solid all of a sudden. When I hit the reset button all I got was the "Frequency out of range" error, and I haven't been able to boot in 060 mode since.

When I booted in 030 mode I discovered that I now also have the "Unknown flash device!" error. I was able to reflash the firmware and save settings in the CPX with no problems before all this started.

I wondered if there was a bad connection somewhere, so I disassembled everything and re-flowed the solder joints on the Falcon expansion connector, just to make sure. When I put everything back together it was exactly the same.

I'm at a loss as to what's going on, but I think the next step is to try to hook up a TV or an RGB monitor to see if there really is a video signal present at all.
