So, finally back from Sweden and recovering a work - what a lovely party! Thanks to everyone that helped organise this event, it always keeps me coming back each year :).
Some scattered thoughts:
- I probably have to start apologizing to people for winning the game compos time and again, or probably disqualify myself somehow, it's not funny anymore :D.
- Random sentences heard during the compos:
"I say anything"
"Now THAT's over 9000!"
"Each time you reset the machine is -1 points!"
"THEY ARE FIRED"
"Open the 2016 folder - let's watch last year's entries again!"
"I'm sure it was SFMX code breaking things up!"
"- Look, bug!
- No, it's design
- No, it's a feature!"
etc, etc. Generally the mood was quite jolly and we all had a big laugh.
- Mmmmmm, barbeque time
- Various talks and discussions, mostly impromptu, with a lot of people. Quite fun!
- The weather was a bit odd but who cares, this is one instance where the real party is inside!
That's all I can think about at the moment. In general I'm sure we all had a great time there, so again big up to the organisers!
