Hi all,
I discovered the pleasure of programming assembler of Atari ST.
I am a beginner and I need help for programming ST sounds.
I found some tutorials on the atari forum but several topics are missing.
Tutorials explain how to play music starting from a YM file but I'd like produce sound effect by myself in my programs.
I am very confusing, there are many tracker but they don't use the ym standard.
Is there anyone so kind to help me?
Which tracker do you recommend to use to begin to create YM files?
Are YM files a good solution for sound effect like explosions in games?
