Do you have a CT60? If not youre unlikely to have the processing power available to do this. It may be possible with a WinTV type PCI card.

Already exists. If you get yourself an FDI/SPDIF you can pick and choose the quality you want, depending on what you want to spend. I have a Sony Minidisk deck connected to mine, the DAC/ADC's are great, and no drivers are required.
What I would like to see, is the only thing that is missing soundwise, is a built in MIDI synth expander, a bit like the OPL you used to get in the soundblaster and compats (basically so I can hear the music in SCUMMVM games)...
