Rodolphe mentions the PCI to be Milan compatible (I hope this means compatible with drivers as well). I think at least they use S3 cards with the Milan. I am pretty sure some Hades card can be used as well, because if I'm not mistaken, Ozk did some work on drivers there?
Other uses for PCI can of course be network, harddisk controllers (would be nice to bypass the Falcon IDE/SCSI for some serious performance and real background DMA), again if I'm not mistaken, drivers for PCI SCSI cards exist on Milan and/or Hades.
So what about SuperVidel? I guess this PCI board will lessen the interest by those who just wants GEM and the occasional SDL game. For us who wanna code graphics stuff that will still work on traditional hardware, as well as getting acclerated by a faster Videl will still buy the SuperVidel. But in the mean time (I guess the CTPCI will be out long before SuperVidel) I really want highres GEM in good colour depth and great speed.
Just gotta get a monitor dual inputs :)
