Since September 2010 the 060 start at the full speed, pmmu and cache, read the flash and apply patches to the target in SDRAM, flush cache and start TOS in SDRAM.
Boot 2.01 has multiple retry (4) for read the flash until crc is correct, maybe it's not enough but it's abnormal that crc is bad.
You want more retry ?
