To set your resolution in xaaes
-------------------------------
1. Open 'Video ATI Radeon' CPX.
2. Change number of colors to 16M.
3. Double-click on the resolution you want.
4. You should get a message (alert box) asking you if you want to change the
resolution. In the alert box, there is a line starting with 'modecode'. Write
down the hexadecimal value (0x____), for example 0x42FD
5. Cancel the resolution change
6. Edit xaaes.cnf
7. Change 'video = ' line to specify the modecode. For example: video = 0x42FD
Now for the Eiffel, that's strange, because I have an Eiffel and it works just beautifully with MagiC.
Same for NPRNCONF. NO problem.
In fact I compiled a compatibility list of all the programs that I use. Nothing major
to report, if only Extendos, Edge and Cdbackup have some issues under MagiC only that
we should be able to resolve soon.
