Hello,
i made some tests with last beta with the following settings:
Falcon/CT60 at 80 MHz, 14+128MB RAM, latest ABE, SDR, CTPCI and TOS updates,
Radeon 9250 at 1280*1024*16M bootres., "USE DMA" in CT60CONF.CPX disabled,
all files nvdidrv* renamed to .SYX
- TOS+NVDI 5.03
Works good exept printing. NPRNCONF.CPX shows error "Wrong AES function call"
when opening, in this errorbox i have to click on cancel button three times
before it closes. In QED, option "Use ext. printer dialog" is not available.
The other two NVDI*.CPX work correct.
- MiNT 1.17.0/XaAES/TeraDesk + NVDI 5.03
With option "video=1" in xaaes.cnf commented out (like Claude said before),
XaAES always starts in 640*480*256 color mode.
With "video=1" set, XaAES starts correct with 1280*1024*16M, but all Icons
(on desktop, in windows and programs) are blue. Opening TaskManager or
System/Log crashes the system with error "attempt to restart XaSYS" and
more than 20 times in german "Invalid pointer at Mfree".
- MiNT 1.17.0/XaAES/TeraDesk + fvdi
Worse than before (with CTPCITOS from 23.5.2010). With HW accelleration "line"
active, Taskmanager and System/Log now crashes the system directly when opening
(before i needed to scroll horizontally to force this).

Short story but sad story:
-MagiC hangs at boot "Patch context FPU"
-Pressed CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-DEL for reboot
-Again MagiC hangs at boot "Patch context FPU"
-Pressed RESET button
Now i got errormessage "Keyboard failure" from Eiffel at boot and Eiffel display
shows only completely black filled fields in the first line, nothing in second line.
The problem remains at next start. I remember that this happened before when trying
to run MagiC on CTPCI; i had to erase and re-program the Eiffel-PIC (with PIC-programmer from PC). It seems that i have to do it again :-(
Sorry that i can´t report something more positive...
DON´T TRY TO RUN MAGIC WITH CTPCI IF YOU HAVE AN EIFFEL CARD!
