Greetings,
I still cannot get my CT60 to boot, and just want to ask for any suggestions as I'm out of alternatives. I was thinking that it may be best just to try and diagnose from the current status and put the complicated history out of mind for the moment.
Attempting to boot normally results in black screen only.
As a result of this, the hardware can only tested by sending a verify signal from JTAG cable attached to a PC which triggers a boot. Testing once booted indicates the following:
CT60 is good
CT60 bus accelerator is working
Falcon mainboard is good
NVRAM is good
ABE, SDR, and TOS programming are good
CTCM and/or 66mhz oscillator are good
ATX and stock PSU are good
SDRAM seems good
I do have a capacitor installed at C7 to fix reset delay, as advised for use with ATX power supply, but wonder if this may need to be changed to a different value. Maybe my SDRAM needs to be changed to a model with different timings?
Is there anything else that can cause black screen on bootup and prevent boot process from completing?
