I had a similar incident a few weeks ago. Firmware programming crashed half way through. I could reprogram it from my other falcon however.

Reversing the bus speeder and restoring the mainboard means you'll have to solder some stuff. Had you not done the bus speeder modification, you would simply remove the CT60 and replace the expansion bus jumper...

I suggest you try programming the machine from a PC or another falcon instead.
