I'm trying to clarify whether the Falcon will with the bus speeder detached, as I assumed that it would not. Some have suggested that I should be able to remove the CT60 totally and completely and still run in 030 mode, but I cannot, so I wanted to check with others that have the bus speeder modifications.
With the CT60 plugged into the expansion port, I cannot boot because it has corrupt firmware and causes black screen even in 030 mode.
There is some question as to whether my Falcon mainboard is broken, and I need to narrow down if my problem is only the CT60, Falcon, or both.
Also, since I did not perform the bus speeder installation, I do not think that I will try to reverse it and would have to send it to someone.
