I've tried this one and this one and the one with USB OHCI(beta2 release). The one with usb ohci gives problems under plain tos (system hang when you move cursor to upper toolbar, no dma on/off in cpx). But it seems that Didier has spotted the problem.

I didn't know that fvdi is unusable with plain tos (I've seen the posts about bus errors, but I thought that it was fixed - there were no mention about it on wiki, so I haven't launched mint with beta2 at all). The release before beta2 has stuck on loading aes drivers.
I will take another try and post the results..

BTW has anyone has tried to build fvdi from sources?
And one question about options:
cookie nvdi=$0501
cookie speedo
vqgdos _FSM

They weren't mentioned earlier, what for they are?
