Hi mikro

To have the new x86 EMU behavior and faster init, you only need latest TOS, which you can program without cable.

I checked it and you're right, Full HD 1080p resolution 1920x1080 is missing.
There are 1920x1200 and 1920x1440 ones, so technically 1080 lines won't be a problem. Please write Didier a feature request - 1080p displays are common today.

I run EasyMiNT installed 1-16-3 with latest official XaAES KM, and as i show on my youtube video it runs quite fast, but a) some apps won't start because no NVDI and b) all apps produced BUS error when attempted to quit. I didn't test that lately, since MyAES looks so nice :) XaAES is, i must admit, somewhat snappier in usage.

With videomode=1 XaAES starts up in the boot resolution, i.e. the one your Falcon counts memory with.

Using fVDI, we will be able to exactly define the desired mode ourselves, indepently of the TOS/ct60conf setting.

01r radeon.sys 1920x1080x32@60

and XaAES videomode=1 will have full HD.
Getting fVDI in order is the way to go, imho. fVDI has a lot of features, it makes Higwire run again, and will let us use nice fonts (Right now, since fVDI/NVDI/SpeedoGDOS won't work, we are left with the ROM font)
