Re: Another successfull CTPCI run!

Thanks for the reply, Beetle! I eagerly await my JTAG cable (have no courage to make by myself) so nice to know that boot it's going to be improved. I'm not sure why it happens everytime in my setup, even after ctrl+alt+del? (At least I think so).

Speaking about XaAES, do you use that old one, non-kernel module? Anyway, in case of "videomode = 1", won't be boot resolution used, i.e. 1024x768?

VESA modes: are you totally sure? I could swear it wasn't there. IIRC 1920xsomething but it wasn't 1920x1080. I'll take a look again. There are some problems with storing some resolutions, though -- I wasn't able to save 1440x1050 (or so), it always forced me into something different.

Anyway, to make it more positive and not only complain, my current plan is to make my CT60+CTPCI usable for work (I must install everything from scratch as I used my Falcon as pure embedded device for last 2 years -- just some simple server listening on network, similar to tftp) as I can't use Ethernat (for now => no file transfer possible) + I didn't use XaAES or anything else, just pure mint.prg + my server app.

After this is done, I plan to debug NVDI and/or XaAES crash (kernel module) + improve this video settings (boot resolutions, correct detection, XaAES support ...) and maybe even inspect that strange flashing bug.
