My highest resolution came from a NEC 5FGP (again, I stress the "P" portion of the model number). Currently, my CRT is a 22" or 24" Mitsubishi which doesn't get quite as high. The NEC got over 1800x1400x16, the Mitsubishi gets 1712x1294x16 as shown here:

My normal mode (without flicker) is slightly over 1100x800x256c on the Mitsubishi. Again, the NEC was a bit better.

Keep in mind that the 1712x1294 resolution is with a 16mhz mb Falcon!

Also, I use SWABS.PRG which is 1600x596x16 which looks decent on my LCD because it takes most of the flicker out of it, unlike on a RGB or TV. This is on a 16mhz mb as well.
