LCD Screen Resolutions
Posted by: quackmore Aug,14.2009-02:42

So I bought each of my daughter's the cheapest ($89) Dell 17" LCD monitor I could find. I decided to test out my Falcons resolutions on them.

A peculiar problem happened.

My non-CT60 Falcon with 16mhz bus can use the 32mhz pixel clock setting in the BlowUp software.

The CT60(25mhz bus) Falcon can't use the 32mhz clock setting in the BlowUp software.

The LCD monitors sync as low as 22khz & 48hz and as high as 34khz & 75hz. When I switch from 25mhz to 32mhz clock, I lower the scan rates as low as possible so it doesn't exceed the ceiling, but the CT60 still doesn't like 32mhz setting.

Any thoughts on this?

Also, if anyone has a CT60 + 25mhz bus + LCD monitor, I would appreciate either their BlowUp settings or successful program & settings. My email is duckman <at> yahoo <dot> com

Thanks!
