Hi,
my reserve CT63 machine is not behaving well. It has never been so it's not a new issue.
Problem: Random freeze, Illegal Instruction, Bus Error most of the time. It can happen whenever it feels like it. If I just let it be without using or even touching the machine, it might crash after 1 minute, or after 10 hours - but sooner or later it will crash.
What I have tried so far..
1. Replaced TT-RAM. I've tried with three sticks, where one is in my primary CT60 machine and it works fine there. All three sticks run thru memory test without error.
2. Replaced ST-RAM. I've tried with three boards, two 14MB RamKartice and the original Atari 4MB board. One of the RamKartice boards is being used in my other CT60 without issues.
3. Changed PSU. I've tried PicoPSU with a 9A AC/DC adapter, a Fuijtsu SFF PSU and the PSU of my CT60 - which works fine in the CT60 of course.
4. Changed harddisk. I've tried using a CompactFlash->IDE adapter and an 80GB IDE harddisk.
5. I've tried with and without EtherNat connected.
6. HDDriver versions 8.15 and 8.23. 8.15 works great with my main CT60..
Whichever combinations of the above things I try, the machine will sporadicly crash and I'm running out of ideas. The CPU is a rev 6 model and clocked at 66MHz, I've never changed that.
Anyone have additional ideas I might try?
