maybe its a slighty-dodgy assumption:

but if i set 32MHz videl clock, and find i dont get the VBL rate I expect, then I assume a speeded bus and switch to external clock, which i assume has been patched to 32MHz (seems to be the case for most speeders).

no complaints about that so far, i got the idea from ST Ghost and he told me he also had no complaints.
