Errr, so you think that finding an ste demo which doesn't use the blitter as the TT doesn't have one (a rarity in itself), transferring it to the TT and running it is less complicated than loading up GFA Basic (which was already on the TT) and typing SPOKE $ffff8265,5? :)
Anyway, the confirmation from Ray is what I needed to forget the subject entirely :)
