hey there ggn,

the STE-FAQ is wong in that point. i also experimented with hw-scrolling on the TT in the past and it seems that the TT-shifter doesn't support any of the horizontal scrolling capabilities provided by the STE's shifter. dunno about older daughterboard revisions of the TT's motherboard.

there also seem to be some undocumented registers/videomodes in the TT, but i never managed to get any use out of them/completely reverse engineer their behaviour.
