you mean the oggs that stefan lindberg posted? yeap, those are quite interesting :)
the AY sounds slightly dull (sid-like?), whereas the YM sounds a bit sharper, but also 'clickier'?
i personally think there are not really any benefits or drawbacks to having an AY instead of a YM, although that's just my taste. the differences in sound are to me not shocking and the compatibility is pretty cool :)
stefan: did you just hook up the AY and run the ST demos/games like that without any modifications?
