Games should be built in ASM, you cant get the speed and graphix with C, its too strange, it was developed to write database programs and Spreadsheets, the fact you write games on it is a byproduct, ASM will always defeat C in a competition for speed and quality. If you plug with it, it will always provide what you need :)
