Well, the STE has no GLUE, but replacing the GSTMCU might be worth a try,
it is basically the MMU and the GLUE combined.
Also, please bear in mind that STEs can be clocked externally by grounding
pin 3 during start-up. Might be worth having a look at that pin as well. Then,
a clock has to be injected on the monochrome detect line.
