My 2 cents...
I easily understand Norman and friends motivation, as he said most of us loved to code demos to learn, try things, find new ways to use the cool hardware and so on.
So as Norman, for a while I was looking for new territories to explore and as Norman I played with FPGA boards (Xilinx Spartan IIIe) and I started to make my own computer (a Z80 core with a YM2149 soundchip and a basic video generator). And yes that's fascinating !
So as those guys are really smarter than I can be, they want more and the ACP is a wonderful project.
But a demo platform ? hard to say... I don't think many people will be able to own this ACP so it will restrict the popularity/scene... but.. who cares !
Do it guys !

by the way if you really look for a wonderful, cheap, available, fun demo platform with a very new way of coding demo, consider the Parallax Demo platform, simply amazing !

What's the anti-troll code? That's your personal code to be able to add comments and messages on the dhs.nu site.
Don't have a code or forgot it? Fix it here.
