Well, I think that the ACP is as close to a classic atari platform as it can be. It's been worked on by Atari scene people (not demoscene exclusively but scene), it will basically be compatible to a Hades (as far as I understood) and it will be extremely fun to have one. All it needs to be a viable atari platform is for it to be a success. A CT60 like success is more than enough I would think.
In that respect, I really hope I'll see an ACP demo within the next year :).
