I am perplexed... the CPU usage of Aniplay never goes above 23%, yet the sound still re-triggers or loops when it should simply continue playing.
Should this happen when the CPU isn't near maximum load?
I have tried toggling numerous combinations of all the options:
DSP, GEM, D2D/D2M, Direct Display, High Quality, Window, Tape Recorder Look
The only thing that helps the audio is to skip frames, which makes the video into a slide show.
D2M is worse
Use DSP is worse
I also tried:
-running IDE or SCSI hard drive.
-converting the mpg to a mov
-increasing or decreasing D2D audio buffer
-use or ignore external clock (44khz module)
-increasing the MiNT timeslice in MiNT.CNF to 10, uncertain as to exactly what this does.
Still the sound does not play correctly :/
