If you want to use EtherNAT, or SuperVidel, or any other forthcoming CT60 expansion boards that use interupts, the ABE needs at least 5M. Maybe it is possible to run the ABE at 5M and have the SDR with earlier firmware? ...Or develop a special 100mhz SDR version, that may not work for everyone.
