Hi there,
I found a thing called "Easy Transfer Board" today. Basically, it's a thingamabob used to move audio, USB, firewire and serial connectors to a 3.5" bay.
All connectors are the "real" external ones, which makes it quite handy when you're relocating the serial and audio connectors. For the USB connectors, you will have to make your own internal cable.

In Sweden, these gadgets are sold by Claes Ohlsson for approx 30 euro.
