Is there a Thing homepage or someplace best to order it?
I'm happy with the regular TOS desktop since I like the hotkeys for various operations. I haven't found any alternate desktops that can be configured this way.
Currently I've been been trying to get Didier Méquignon's Picdesk to place a true color (X)IMG on a Centscreen/Centvidel 640x480 True Color VGA Desktop.
I've used Imagecopy4 to convert 640x480 jpgs to IMG, but Picdesk says that the buffer is not large enough if I try to load one of these. I can't determine any way to increase the buffer size.
I also tried converting one of the included Picdesk IMG files to a true color (X)IMG, since these are smaller tiled images, but when Picdesk loads them, the images are scrambled.
I can't determine if the problem may be related to Imagecopy4 converting to the wrong type of (X)IMG, or whether there are limitations to Picdesk that I am beating my head against.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
