I'm no expert on the CT60 HW and SW, but you could try checking, in 030 mode, when running ct60flash.tos if the CEn, OEn, WEn pins on the flash chip (IC2 on page 2 of the schematic: http://www.powerphenix.com/ct60/CT63_schematics.pdf) show any sign of life. Also check the ABDIR signal, which is controlled by the ABE.
