I would say you have missed a solder or two in the extender. Especially the ground pins can require lots of heating to melt the tin properly. Good that you didn't put the SV and Ethernat on immediately. Testing in stages is always recommended when you have changed something :)
Evil: The extender is needed when you use both Supervidel and Ethernat in original case, to get some distance from the internal keyboard. With Svethlana instead of Ethernat this is not a problem. :)
