This version seems to have cracked it :-)

When told to select tunes by clicking on the petals, use Alt - Ctrl - M - to bring the mouse cursor in. This allows you to click on the petals and other things too. The tunes are selectable, the info-texts come up with the other flower petals, the butterflies can be 'killed' by clicking on them. And finally, the sun sets when you click on that to exit the demo officially too. Unless you want to leave quickly as before with 'escape'.

The music plays perfectly with no slowdown at 90 MHz too.

So it looks like this one is a wrap. Still needs an '060 and a faster one is definitely recommended. But I guess this can be considered to be the 'official' and tested Atari MINT version now.
