And by the way, if we get the Planet Hively Music Disk working,
maybe its worth to try a port of the Hively Tracker as well.

If it works on a GP2X handheld, the Falcon ct6x is comparable.
And with Firebee, Falcon ct6x/Radeon or Falcon ct6x/Supervidel
along with Aranym there a quite a lot systems that could use
that one in a GEM window as the tracker won't fit on a 640x480
Desktop.

The fact that you get sound at all, makes me optimistic that
the rest is solvable.
