The core can *possibly* be used for other projects as well. It depends. It doesn't provide callbacks for memory reads/writes (because that slows things down). Instead, it just access RAM buffers directly within the core. So it depends on the emulator. Ideally I would need these callbacks in my speccy emulator, to be able to make it scanline accurate, but I chose to go for a useful compromise instead.
I'll check SMS+ later and see if it could use this core. It would be pretty cool.
