Another CTPCI problem thread
Posted by: jury Sep,11.2011-14:21

I have many horror times with my CTPCI so today, I just tried TOS on completely fresh disk. I put only:
- CPX folder: videocnf.cpx ct60cnf.cpx
- AUTO folder: nothing
- GEMSYS folder: radeon.sys ( from latest package from Didier's site )
- directly on C: xcontrol.acc
- directly on C: assign.sys ( tried also to comment out this file as I do not know what is it for, but have read somewhere that its needed )

For now ( about 30 runs ) it did not hang on switching to Radeon output ( before today it was doing so 3 times out of 5), but still, I have often artifacts on screens ( random pixels in upper part of screen ) and the system just hangs really often. Especially when changing resolution in videoconf.cpx, when I double click the desired resolution and than press Change button, my system always hangs, but when restarted it starts in new resolution. Also when trying to restart TOS by ctrl-alt-del it always hangs. I guess that its rather hardware, unless you guys have any other advices?
