Re: CTPCI + EtherNat

There is some progress...
My CT60 was clocked to 80Mhz. I contacted Roldolphe, and he told me, that CTCLOCK is not very stable in this range and he suggested to change the clock frequency to 90 or 95Mhz. I did that, but I found, that the computer freezes from time to time. I decided to remove all the addon boards, and do some testings. I used plain TOS and the silkcut 1.02 demo for testing purposes. If the demo ended succesfully by going back to TOS, I considered the computer stable. I tired both 90 and 95 Mhz with the following result:
If there are no addon boards connected just the CT60 alone, the computer is stable
- If the EtherNAT is connected, the computer is stable
- If the CTPCI is connected, the computer is stable (forced to use the Videl by pressing the V key on boot)
- If both the CTPCI and EtherNAT is connected, the computer freezes after a couple of minutes (forced to use the Videl by pressing the V key on boot)

Actually nor the CTPCI nor the EtherNAT was used, they were just connected/installed to the CT60. The motherboard was not boosted. Only the DSP is running at 50Mhz constantly, since I added a dedicated oscillator (I had troubles with the DSP when it got the clock from the CT60)
Does anybody have any idea, why the computer is not stable when both the CTPCI and the EtherNAT is connected? Is there anybody out there who can successfully use both the CTPCI and EtherNAT at the same time?

Thanks,
Jozsi
